Defence Minister Khattak and MNA Mazari meet Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad today.

Federal Minister Pervaiz Khattak and Member National Assembly Mahmood Khan Mazari called on the PM.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on overall political situation in the country.

Moreover, they also discussed problems of common man of Rajanpur district.

Ongoing development projects and law and order situation also came under discussion.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthen relations with China in the spheres of politics, trade and economy.

He expressed these views, while interacting with the Chinese media on the occasion of centenary celebrations of Communist Party of China (CPC).

He further noted China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as a project that gives us optimism and hope for future economic development.

Khan said they have constituted a high level committee to monitor progress on the CPEC related projects.

Besides it aims to make sure no impediment in their way.

Prime Minister Khan’s visits

Moreover, Imran Khan said he is also going to Gwadar next week to oversee the pace of corridor related projects.

He said his visit to China also in the offing which will focus on further strengthen the bilateral relationship.

The Prime Minister said Pakistan hopes to attract the Chinese industries in the Special Economic Zones being established under the second phase of the CPEC.

He said we are also looking to benefit from the Chinese expertise in the agriculture sector to bolster the productivity of this sector of the economy.
