Dr Zakir Naik, son to visit Pakistan next month

Renowned religious scholar Dr Zakir Naik along with his son, Sheikh Farooq Naik will visit Pakistan on invitation of the Government of Pakistan.

The announcement was made public via Facebook post revealing the schedule of his visit in three major cities of Pakistan.

According to the schedule, Dr Zakir Naik will speak in Karachi on October 5-6, Lahore on October 12-13 and Islamabad on October 19 and 20.

It is worth mentioning here that recently Dr Zakir Naik made an appearance in a podcast with Pakistani YouTuber Nadir Ali.

During the interview, Dr. Zakir Naik was asked why he did not come to Pakistan instead of Malaysia after migrating from India.

Answering the question, he said that it was easy for him to go to Pakistan as people knew him there.

He further said that if he wanted to go to Pakistan, he could have gone, but there is a principle of Shariat that small loss should be tolerated to avoid big loss.

The scholar said that his going to Pakistan could have jeopardized his preach work and the Indian government could have accused him of working with the ISI or his organization could have been closed under any other charge. Therefore, he himself avoided going to Pakistan.
