Drop scene of Karsaz incident

A settlement has been reached between the family of the deceased and accused Natasha Iqbal in Karsaz incident.

According to report, the families of the deceased, Imran Arif and Amina Arif, have prepared an affidavit stating that they have forgiven the accused.

“We have reached a settlement and have forgiven the accused. We forgive her in the name of Allah, who is the Most Merciful and Compassionate,” read the affidavit.

It further states that they have no objection to the accused’s bail application.

The families have affirmed that the statements made in the affidavit are accurate.

The no objection certificate would be submitted today in the court, paving way in the release of Natasha Iqbal, the prime suspect.

The certificate will be presented on behalf of Imran Arif’s family.

It is worth mentioning here that, a speeding car, driven by Natasah Iqbal, crashed into the pedestrians at Karsaz Road, resulting in the deaths of a father and daughter and injuries to four others.

The woman driving the vehicle was arrested by the police.

The father and daughter were killed while riding a motorcycle, while four other citizens sustained serious injuries.

Eyewitnesses reported that the woman driving the jeep appeared to be out of control.
