Dubai leaks: Pakistanis own $11bn worth properties

The Dubai Property Leaks have revealed billions of dollars worth of properties owned by Pakistanis, including political, government and retired government officials.

According to Dubai Leaks, the data of properties worth about $400 billion of foreigners in Dubai has been leaked, including the properties of Pakistanis worth $11 billion.

It has been revealed in the leaks that 17,000 Pakistanis have bought 23,000 properties in Dubai. Names of three children of President Asif Zardari are also included in the property leaks.

Property Leaks includes the names of many political figures, government officials and retired government officials of the world. Pakistanis own properties worth $11 billion in Dubai, the second most foreign buyers of properties in the gulf state.

Hussain Nawaz Sharif also owns properties in Dubai while Sharjeel Memon and his family members are also among the property owners in the gulf state.

According to leaks, the name of Senator Faisal Vawda and former prime minister Shaukat Aziz is also included in the names of the owners of properties in Dubai. Four members of the National Assembly from Sindh also have properties in the state. Besides, former president Gen (Retd) Pervez Musharraf also owns property in Dubai.
