The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday registered the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) and issued a notification in this regard.
After the registration of the party with ECP, it will be able to contest the upcoming general elections while the commission accepted all the details and documents provided by the management of the party.
The ECP also acknowledged the intra-party elections of the IPP.

‘’It is a matter of great delight that the IPP has been registered by the electoral watchdog. The dedication and hard work of IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan and patron-in-chief Jahangir Khan Tareen have reaped benefits for the party,’’ Awan said.
She said that the party will now join the masses in a legal capacity, adding that the public campaign will also speed up with the completion of the registration process.
‘’It is a matter of immense happiness and joy that the IPP has been registered on the occasion of the birthday of Abdul Aleem Khan,’’ she maintained.
