English people gave Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan tittle of ‘Mr Allah Ho’: Rahat Fateh Ali

Singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has said that the legendary singer Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s Qawwali ‘Allah Ho Allah Ho’ was so liked by the English people that they gave him the title of ‘Mr. Allah Ho’.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is currently in Toronto, Canada, where he talked to the media about Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

The singer said that Toronto is his second home because Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s wife used to live there and he used to come to her house.

In response to a question, Rahat said that his son Shah Zaman is performing on the big stage at a young age. He has learned from the age of 6 by listening and singing to Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. He has been singing the song ‘Tumhen Dillagi’ since childhood.

He said that he likes Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s qawwali ‘Allah Ho Allah Ho’ which was popular in the world.

The singer further said that the Qawwali ‘Allah Ho Allah Ho’ has been liked by English and Japanese people and they gave him the name ‘Mr Allah Ho’.
