‘Off-Campus’ Star Calls Off Engagement With Fiance Jake Short
Actress Mika Abdalla, after renewed of ‘Off Campus Season 2’ calls off her engagement with her fiance Jake Short.
June 2, on Tuesday, according to an insider speaking to Us Weekly, that the ‘Snack Shack’ star broken off her engagement with the ‘A.N.T.’ Farm actor after one year.
The duo split acknowledged by the representative, “due to recent interest in Mika’s personal life, it would feel remiss not to address that she and Jake are no longer together.”
“They continue to support each other and remain on friendly terms, and kindly ask for privacy and respect,” the insider further added.
In May 2025, Mika and Short confirmed their engagement news. Short’s manager, Brian Medavoy, confirmed the engagement in an Instagram post.
The point to be noted that, the news followed shortly after Off Campus creator Louisa Levy announced that the series had been renewed for a second season, centered on Elle Kennedy’s The Score.
The second installment will explore the romantic journey of Allie Hayes, played by Mika and Dean Di Laurentis portrayed by Stephen Kalyn, according to media reports.
Though, the first season focuses on the fake-dating bargain between Hannah Wells (Ella Bright) and Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli).
