Meghan Markle Marks Lilibet’s 5th Birthday With New Instagram Photos

Prine Harry wife Meghan Markle took her Instagram on the special day of Princess Lilibet shared some of her photos to celebrates her fifth birthday.

The Duchess of Sussex posted the pictures attached with heartfelt note that read, “Our dream girl. Happy 5th birthday, Lili.”

In the posted photos, one captured Lilibet along with her parents Prince Harry and Meghan, while the second showed the young royal by herself in a dress.

Despite keeping her face out of view, only Lilibet’s redheaded locks and gold bracelet were clearly visible.

The pictures were shared following criticism Meghan faced for posting her children online. A few days earlier this week, her spokesperson addressed the criticism, in which she spoke about a clear difference between sharing family memories and exposing children to unnecessary public attention.

Meghan spoke about this just days after memorial event in Switzerland, where she talks about the risks of social media for young people

The spokesperson said: “The Duchess has always been clear that there is a distinction between sharing moments from her life and exposing her children to public scrutiny.

“By obscuring their faces, she is demonstrating the very principle she advocates for: giving children privacy, agency, and protection in an increasingly digital world.”

More they added: “Far from being contradictory, by concealing their faces she is actually reflecting the message she delivered in Geneva: that parents can choose to share family experiences while still taking deliberate steps to protect identities, privacy, and digital footprint.”
