Nauman Ijaz Shares Islamic View on Halal and Haram Choices in Life
Pakisatani veteran actor Nauman Ijaz known for his epic performances in his famous dramas such as Fishaar, Dasht, Nijat Bashir Momin,Prizaad Kaisi Teri Khudgharzi, Mayi Ri, and countless other. His latest work in Bismil and Shar Pasand also received a lot of praises.
Several time, he uses his social media platform for sharing his thoughts openly in public. So recently, he shared a video on YouTube in which the actor spoke about a meaningful thought which sent by a friend of him. He stated that Allah has given humans signs in everyday life to understand things- like how our hands feel heat, our teeth sense hardness, our tongue detects taste, and our nose identifies bad smell.
The notable thing, he highlight that, Allah only one major thing has been left on human choice: deciding between Halal and Haram. He questioned whether people truly understand this difference and reminded viewers to think carefully about their actions.
Here is his words: “Observe the wonder of God’s creation and how He has guided us while leaving just one responsibility completely to us. And even with that, I don’t know if we are honoring it in the true sense or not. If we pick up hot food in our hand, our hands immediately signal to us that it is hot. When we put it in our mouth, if it is hard, our teeth tell us that it is hard. If it is bitter, our tongue tells us that it is bitter. If it is old or stale, our nose immediately lets us know that something is wrong with it. And then there is just one distinction—Halal (permissible) or Haram (forbidden)—which He left entirely up to our own choice and judgment. What do you think? Do we really not know what is Halal and what is Haram? And yet, despite His guidance, if we continue to engage in forbidden acts and consume forbidden livelihoods, what do you think? Shouldn’t we die of shame?”

After his comments, he received praise from many fans. However, one user criticized him by questioning whether his own earnings are halal or haram. The comment read: ‘What do you think about your earnings? Are they halal or haram?’

Nauman Ijaz replied peacefully, saying the person had a narrow mindset. He guided him to stay positive and also reflect on himself, saying: ‘Stay happy, brother, and sometimes look at yourself too.’
