Ahsan Mohsin Ikram questions Pakistan’s peace priorities after Quetta attack

Paksitani Actor Ahsan Mohsin Ikram called out his concern about the recent heartbreaking attack on a family travelling to Quetta, requesting the government to make and security within Pakistan its top priority.

Breaking his silence on the tragic incident, Ahsan raised voice and ask why militant attacks still happen even with years of security operations. As per his perception, the one of the disturbing thing that people still cannot travel safely across several provinces without fear in their own country. He also asked how militant groups continue to challenge the state’s authority and why lasting peace remains out of reach.

Ahsan also reflected on Pakistan’s role indulging to bring peace on the global stage, especially the ongoing tensions between the United States and Iran. Whereas appreciating calls for international peace, Ahsan claimed that true direction begins at home. He asked how authorities can speak about bringing peace between other nations when many Pakistani families still struggle to feel safe in their own country.

As per Ahsan’s points, he emphasizes the safety of citizens should come before everything else. He worried that terrorism must be eliminated and fixed sanctuary warranted so that people can travel freely without fear of violence.

The actor’s statement came after the deadly attack on a family travelling to Quetta, the case that has once again spread nationwide debate over public safety, terrorism, and the urgent need for lasting peace within Pakistan.
