Sajal Aly Receives Industry Support After Nadia Khan’s Viral Criticism

A renowned Pakistani television host and actress Nadia Khan currently facing backlash from form showbiz industry and social media users after spoke about one of the sequence from HUMTV drama Zanjeerain, where the famous actress Sajal’s character Rabia, is seen trying to escape from danger, and Nadia questioned the way the actress delivered her dialogue, suggesting that the emotions in the scene did not match the intensity of the situation.

To illustrate her point, she mimicked Sajal Aly’s delivery of the line, “Is anyone there?” According to her, the character should have been running while shouting “Save me!” instead of casually saying “Is anyone there?” in a low tone.

After that review become viral across social media, many user agreed with Nadia’s reviews and take it as director’s mistake and defended Nadia that her comment wasn’t about Sajal’s acting but the director’s mistake, which should have been fixed during editing. While many fans rushed to defend Sajal Aly and accused Nadia Khan of repeatedly singling out the award-winning actress, with some claiming the criticism seemed unnecessarily personal.

Many social media users speculated that Nadia was using comments about one of Pakistan’s biggest stars to attract attention. While some dismissed the comments, and praised Sajal Aly’s acting, insisting that one scene does not reflect her overall work in the drama.

Not only social media user and fans spoke against Nadia’s review some famous showbiz celebrities including Saba Faisal and Maya Khan also come out to support of Sajal Ali.

Saba Faisal raising voice on Nadia’s criticism and saying that she should choose her words carefully when speaking publicly, especially about an actress of Sajal Aly’s stature.
