Sanam Jung Calls for Action After Man Allegedly Beaten in Front of Daughter

Pakistan’s most talented and versatile actress and host upraised her voice on a distressing incident in which a man was allegedly beaten in front of his young daughter.

The 37-years-old actress and host took her Instagram and share a disturbing video and expressed her concern over the impact of upsetting incident may had on the child who witnessed her father being beaten.

She wrote, “Those in big cars, seemingly resourceful and influential, and on the other hand, a man from a humble background with his little daughter (can’t imagine the trauma the little one must have gone through seeing her dad being beaten).”

In her post, the actress emphasized the difference between the people tangled, pointing out that one side seemed to be powerful and resourceful, whereas the other was a man from a modest family go together with by his little daughter.

Sanam labelled the event as intensely upsetting and insisted the Sindh Police to take instant and strict action against those accountable.

She more added “This is deeply disturbing and deserves immediate attention.”

She also entitled on newspapers and media channels to share the clip and help recognize the person allegedly involved in the case. As per Saman’s Insta, no one should be above accountability because of their status or influence.

She further wrote, “I urge the Sindh Police to take strict and immediate action. I also urge newspapers and media outlets to share this story-Identify the individual involved and hold him accountable.”

The actress also express thanks the one who filmed the video and took the alleged incident to public consideration. She said that without the recording, the matter might have gone unseen.

“A big thank you to whoever recorded this video and brought it to light. If it wasn’t for this recording, such injustice would have gone unnoticed. Spreading awareness is the first step toward justice.”

Sanam worried that raising awareness is a significant first phase on the way to on the lookout for justice and confirming responsibility.
