Carla Jeffery, Disney’s ‘Zombies’ Star, Dies at 33
Carla Jeffery who is best known of her role cheerleader Bree in Disney Channel’s Zombies franchise has passed away at the age of 33.
Alexanders Talent Management reported her death news on Instagram on Wednesday, September 2. As per Agency’s announcement, the actress died a day earlier on Tuesday and the details surrounding her cause of death remain undisclosed.

An emotional tribute shared by her Agency, recalling her for her talent, catching smile and lively personality. The agency shared that Jeffery had been part of its family for more than two decades.
“Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of our beloved Carla Jeffery,” the agency said in its statement, adding that watching her grow from a talented young girl into a successful actress had been a privilege.
Jeffery’s hometown is in Houston Texas where she born on July 10, 1993. The actress’ acting career begun at the age of 12 in 2006, and have done some television and other film projects.
Her breakthrough role came in Disney’s Zombies in 2018, in which she played as Bree become a turning point of her acting career as she take part again in Zombies 2 in 2020 and Zombies 3 2023
The actress spoke emotionally in August 2025, during LA Times interview about inspiring young fans, particularly Black girls who saw her character as a role model. She also expressed gratitude to those young girls who admire her and picturized her as a role model. She also highlight that this is the reason she wanted to keep motivating young girls through her career.
