Tom Holland Faces Fan Backlash Over Zendaya’s 30th Birthday

The Spider-Man hero Tom Holland face some fans backlash as he didn’t wish his wife Zendaya’s birthday publicly on social media.

On Tuesday September 1, Zendaya celebrated her 30^th birthday, rather than wishing Zendaya publicly, Tom shared a fitness-focused post on Instagram. Tom’s post promoted both his fitness routine and his non-alcoholic beer brand as part of a partnership.

Fans instantly noted that, there is no birthday post from Tom on his wife Zendaya’s birthday, and start asking questions in the comment section, numerous users asked why he had not posted anything for Zendaya, while others urged him to wish his wife publicly.

While many fans defended Tom and spoke against on this criticism, saying Tom was not required to share every particular moment online. Some pointed out that the couple is already married and their relationship does not need to be displayed on social media.

The backlash followed Zendaya’s birthday post in which she shared a heartfelt message to her fans and thanked them, for making her final year of her twenties special and expressed excitement about the future.

The couple started their relationship in 2021, and in March 2026 Zendaya’s stylist announced their marriage news which surprising all the fans across the world.

Later, Tom himself addressed the speculated wedding images that all those are fake and AI-generated, he confirmed that the couple had actually exchanged vows, explaining that his family knew the images were fake because they had been present at the wedding.

Tom and Zendaya became engaged during the 2024 holiday season and are now married, despite keeping much of their relationship private.
