Executive Committee of National Economic Council nods Rs326bn projects.

The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council commonly known as ECNEC met in Islamabad today (Friday).

Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin presided over the meeting.

The committee approved dualization of Lilla Interchange at M-2 via Pind-Dadan Khan to Jhelum including two bypasses at a cost of 12.760 billion rupees.

Furthermore, ECNEC also nodded reconstruction of 115-kilometer long Turbat-Mand Road from M-8 till Iranian Border-Radeeq costing 10.461 billion rupees.

It also approved construction of Panjgur-Gichak-Awaran Road, District Panjgur/ Awaran, 228 Km Project at rationalized cost of Rs14.68 billion.

Meanwhile,

Prime Minister Imran Khan claimed to have steered Pakistan out of difficult times.

He made this claim, while addressing a ceremony after performing the groundbreaking of upgradation and rehabilitation of 62 kilometers long Lodhran-Multan highway, in Islamabad on Friday.

He said the government has steered the country out of difficult times and now it will witness sustainable growth and development.

Imran Khan also announced completion of the project at a cost 6.886 billion rupees in two years’ time.

The PM said there will be now wealth generation and people will get job opportunities.

On the economic front, he said the people will continue to hear good news.
