Fawad Khan’s return to Bollywood; Indian media reveals details of new film

The claims of the Indian media regarding the return of famous Pakistani showbiz star Fawad Khan to Bollywood have once again caught the attention of his fans.

A Hindustan Times report claimed that Fawad Khan is all set to return to Bollywood after the film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ (2016). The Pakistani star will soon work with Indian actress Ridhi Dogra in a new theater project.

Fawad Khan and Riddhi Dogra will be seen together in the comedy drama. The project is still in its initial stages and is yet to be finalised.

Sources in the report said that the duo will be cast in a drama while their supporting roles are yet to be cast. They also said that the paperwork for the film has been completed, Fawad Khan and Riddhi Dogra will play romantic roles in the film.

The identity of the film’s director has also been kept under wraps and shooting for the project will begin by the end of this year while it could hit the theaters by the end of next year or early 2026.

The film will not be shot in India but in various international locations including New York and London.

Remember that Fawad Khan made his debut in the Indian industry in 2014 with Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor in the film ‘Khubrosat’. He was awarded the Filmfare Award for his best performance in the film’
