Former civil servant Roedad Khan passes away

Former senior bureaucrat Roedad Khan passed away in Islamabad.

Roedad Khan’s funeral prayers will be offered in the federal capital Islamabad after Zuhr prayers.

The former bureaucrat will be laid to rest at the H-11 graveyard in the capital.

Hailing from a small village in Mardan, Roedad Khan held various important posts during his long career. He also served as chief secretary of Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, PTV managing director, secretary at Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Labour.

Apart from this, Roedad Khan also served as interior secretary, federal minister for accountability and advisor to the prime minister and president of Pakistan.
