Gold prices continue upwards trajectory in Pakistan
The gold prices on Saturday once again witnessed a massive increase in Pakistan, driven by an increase in international rates.
As per the APGJSA, the 24-karat gold per tola went up by Rs400, reaching Rs266,300 in the local market.
Meanwhile 10-gram gold of 24 karats also witnessed a slight increase of Rs343 as it is being retailed at Rs228,309, said the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.
The increase in local prices mirrors global trends.
In the international market, the price of gold rose to $2,577 per ounce after a $11 drop during the trading day.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable at Rs2,950.
