Gold prices drop further in Pakistan
Gold prices have dropped yet against in Pakistan as it witnessed a Rs1000 decline on Thursday, according to all Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
The per tola price of 24 carats gold reached Rs252,500, while the price of 10 grams witnessed a decrease of Rs857 as it stands at Rs216,478.
Moreover, in the international market gold climbed $26 to reach at $2,391.14 per ounce.
Apart from that, a 0.7% decline was witnessed in spot gold prices as it stands at $2,432.29 per ounce, as of 0956 GMT. It is its highest since July 18.
Prices were just $51 shy of the record high of $2,483.60 scaled on July 17.
U.S. gold futures firmed 0.1% to $2,476.10. Meanwhile, spot silver also fell 0.7% to $28.83.
