Gold prices drop in Pakistan
After a consecutive rise last week, gold prices in Pakistan saw a minor decline today (Tuesday).
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola was cut by Rs400. It is being retailed at Rs252,300
In the local market, the price of 10 grammes of 24-karat gold also fell by Rs344, as it stands at Rs216,306.
The price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold also witnessed a decrease and reached Rs198,281.
In the international market, gold prices also saw a minor $2 fall during the day, with the rate per ounce standing at $2,388.
Meanwhile, the rate of 24-karat silver remained stable at Rs2,860 per tola.
