Gold prices see massive surge in Pakistan

After a continues drop for the last couple of day, the gold price saw a massive surge on Friday both in local and international market.

The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) said that the price of gold per tola saw a Rs2,400 increase in the prices. After the increase, it reached Rs257,300.

As for 10-gram gold, it witnessed a Rs2,057 rise in prices. It is being retailed at Rs220,593. The price of 10-gram of 22-karat gold has reached Rs202,210

Moreover, about $26 per ounce increase in the international market, as reported by APGJSA. It hit $2,458 mark on Friday.

Silver rates in the local market remained stable at Rs2,900 per tola.

This record-setting trend underscores the volatility and significant shifts in the precious metals market under influence of both domestic and global economic factors.
