Google to roll out new feature for convenience of Chrome users

26 August, 2024 11:51

Google is set to introduce a new feature for the convenience of Chrome users, which will help them on Android devices and desktop computers to access all their Google Account data.

According to media report, Google Chrome announced to introduce this feature for iOS devices some time ago.

Due to this, users will be able to access their secure passwords, sharing tabs, web addresses and browsing activities across devices.

Doing so will allow Google to act as a single unified browser on iOS, Android, and desktop computers, but only when you allow it to do so.

In a blog post, the company said that after signing in to Google Chrome, you’ll be able to access all passwords, addresses and other data stored in your Google Account across devices.

Similarly, if you sign into a new phone while traveling, all data will be accessible due to this feature.

The account synchronization feature will not be automatically enabled for open tabs and browsing history, but you have to do so.

It should be noted that Google did not mention when this feature will be introduced for android and desktop users.
