Government remains committed to protect women rights: Awan

Government remains committed to protect women rights which include their constitutional, legal, political, social and economic rights.

PM’s Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan stated this in tweet today.
She furtehr said the incumbent government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, remain opposed to every sort of exploitation of women.

Government remains committed

The Special Assistant said the steps ranging from inheritance rights of women to passage of Zainab Alert Bill show the government’s strong commitment. 
Awan said that it also showed government thinking for women rights.
Moreover, she said disrespect to women at the media or any other forum is condemnable.
She said an incident occurred about it at a television channel is regrettable. She said the media should be more responsible in such sensitive matters.
In a series of tweet, PM’s special assistant said Bibi Fatima Zahra and Mothers of Faithful remain role models for every Muslim women.
Meanwhile, people also commented over her tweets.
Moreover, they criticized Marvi Sirmed over Aurat (Women) March.
Specially, critics censured her and other organisers of Aurat March over vulgarity.
They also  reminded Muslim women values modesty and Islamic teachings.
They lamented that obscenity and vulgarity is being promoted in the name of feminism in Pakistan.
