Govt has not decided to promote students without exams so far.

Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mehmood said this, while talking to a private news channel.

He said that the government has made no decision to promote the students without examinations.

Furthermore, he referred to the postponing of the exams last year.

The minister noted that students promoted without examinations.

However, the government has no intention to repeat the practice this year.

He further said that they are taking all decisions with consensus at the National Command Operations Center to control the third wave of coronavirus in the country.

The minister said the Cambridge examinations are continuing as per the schedule.

Because, Shafqat Mahmood noted it not possible for Cambridge to take examinations online.

Moreover, he said the government had instructed to the British Council to decrease the number of students in the examinations halls and strictly follow the SOPs.

Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah noted the increased positivity ratio of Coronavirus in big cities as alarming.

He stated this, while addressing the press conference in Karachi.

Furthermore, he clarified that the employees must stay in their posting cities either in Karachi or other city.

The CM said that all employees must remain available on phone. Because the government can be them on an urgent basis at offices.
