‘Hania Aamir can play lead in biopic on Maryam Nawaz’

Renowned film director Nadeem Baig has recently shared his dream cast for a biopic based on Pakistan’s politics.

In a revealing interview, Baig disclosed his top picks for portraying prominent political figures, showcasing his keen eye for talent and resemblance.

Nadeem Baig opted for Hania Aamir to play Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, citing their striking resemblance as the deciding factor.

After deliberating between Ayeza Khan and Hania Aamir, Baig ultimately chose the latter, convinced that she would bring Maryam’s character to life convincingly.

When asked about Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) founder, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Nadeem replied, the late Mohammad Ali would be my choice to portray the PPP founder.

Meanwhile, Mehwish Hayat is Baig’s top pick to play the former PM Benazir Bhutto.

Hamza Ali Abbasi would be ideal to portray the former cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan.
