Heat intensity likely to rise as sea breeze stopped in Karachi

The Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of increase in heat intensity in Karachi from today.

The Meteorological Department said that weather in the city is likely to remain hot and humid during the next 24 hours, but there may be drizzle or light rain in the evening or night.

The weather expert said that the minimum temperature of the port city was recorded at 30.4 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature is likely to be between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius.

The humidity in the air is 73 per cent, while sea breezes are blocked in the city and the speed of winds blowing from the northwest is 18 km per hour. Sea breezes are likely to resume in evening.
