The trailer of season 2 of India’s famous comedy show ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ has been released, in which fans are counting down the days to the start of the show after seeing Alia Bhatt and Kartik Aaryan in the guest set.

According to Indian media reports, season 2 of The Great Indian Kapil Show will be telecast on Netflix this week from September 21, 2024.

How much is Archana Puran Singh’s remuneration?

A recent report in the Indian media has revealed that Archana Puran Singh received a fee of one million Indian rupees per episode for season 1 of the show which aired on Netflix.

The report did not publish any details regarding the salaries or increments of the actors for season 2 of The Great Indian Kapil Show.

On the other hand, during a conversation in an Indian show along with the rest of the cast, Archana admitted that her co-stars Sunil Grover, Krishna Abhishek and others in The Great Indian Kapil Show charge double her salary.

Archana Puran was asked if her co-stars on The Great Indian Kapil Show feel jealous that she is only paid to laugh on the show.

In response to the question, Archana said that ‘you guys take double the salary in the show, so you have to work hard.

Archana seemed quite satisfied with her remuneration and said that she only gets paid for laughing on the show while others get paid double for their hard work.
