‘I am Muslim by birth’: Man rejects news, clarifies he didn’t accept Islam during Dr Zakir’s Karachi show

A participant of the Dr Zakir Naik’s last night programme held in Karachi has contradicted a media report, in which he was mentioned as a non-Muslim.

Taking to social media platform, Muhammad Inshal Yousuf clarified that false information is being spread that he accepted Islam during the Dr Zakri Naik’s programme.

“Alhamdolillah I’am a by birth Muslim but once again I recited kalma shahadat with Dr Zakir Naik in his recent speech session in Karachi,” he wrote in his social media post.

He added that his question was just that: “Can a person call himself a Muslim if he doesn’t offer namaz. If I not properly offer salah so am I a Muslim or atheist.”

He said that a section of media is portraying him as a non-Muslim who accepted Islam during the programme of the renowned Islamic scholar.

Muhammad Inshal Yousuf urged the section of media, which is portraying him as an Hindu, to present news based on facts as he is by birth Muslim and did not accept Islam during the Dr Zakir’s show.
