I am not being allowed to meet PTI founder: Omar Ayub

PTI’s nominated prime minister Omar Ayub has said that despite the court order, he is not being allowed to meet the party’s founder

Talking to the media outside Adiala Jail here on Thursday, Omar Ayub said that the court had allowed the meeting with the founder of PTI in Adiala Jail.

Ayub said that we are not being allowed to go inside to meet the founder of PTI. If there is no rule of law, where will the investment come from. We are not being given our right, where should we go for justice, he questioned.

Ayub asked if he should go to the International Court to meet his leader. He has to meet the leader for various issues of the party. I will approach the court once again and then see the action plan, he added.

Last week, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan had nominated Omar Ayub for the post of prime minister against PML-N’s Shehbaz Sharif.

Asad Qaiser held a meeting with Imran Khan in Adiala Jail Rawalpindi, during which the PTI founder entrusted him with the task of consulting with political parties.

He said that our mandate has been stolen in the elections. The PTI will start a protest movement across the country.

Qaiser said that the PTI founder would give a date for the protest by this evening.

Sources said that PTI founder told Asad Qaiser that all decisions will be taken in consultation with the political leadership. The PTI founder told Asad Qaiser that the political leadership should prepare for government formation.
