I could not take advantage of opportunity, regrets Azam Khan

Islamabad United’s middle order batter Azam Khan has said that it is an honour to play for the country.

While talking to the media in Lahore, Azam Khan said that a batter should be able to play at every number. I will play wherever the team needs me. I will try to hit my traditional style sixes in the upcoming matches, he added.

Azam Khan further said that Naseem Shah is a big superstar. I am having a fun with the three brothers also enjoying Islamabad.

He said that Alex Hales is a key player and we will miss him. Martin Guptill is a good player and due to him a good combination will be formed.

The Islamabad United’s batter added, “Our bowling is good, it’s good that our mistakes came out early, PSL is a prime tournament, it pays to do well, right now the focus is on PSL.”

Azam Khan said that he doesn’t think much about future.

If I have to play further, I will have to work on my fitness, he said.

Azam Khan said that he look at his status carefully. I am standing among the world’s top batters in the middle order. I still talk to my father, he gives me tips, Azam Khan said.
