I don’t think PPP will join govt: Kundi

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has said that he does not think Pakistan People’s Party will be part of the government.

Kundi speaking to a local TV said there was no meeting with Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on Eid as now it is too late. It is difficult to have contact with the chief minister but not impossible.

He said that the job of the opposition is to put pressure on the government, the opposition will walk out by blowing the horn and the budget will be approved by the government.

The KP governor further said that negotiations are going on between the Pakistan People’s Party and the government on the budget and if the talks are successful, former will support the latter in approving the budget.

Kundi added that this budget belongs to the IMF as if you take a loan, you have to obey their words. The government tried to give a good budget.

He also said that it is good for the prime minister to say that this is the last IMF program.
