Iconic Monal restaurant shuts down in Islamabad

Iconic Monal restaurant has shut down its operation in Islamabad after Supreme Court’s orders.

The restaurant made the announcement via its Facebook page stating: “It’s time to say Goodbye. As per Honorable SCP directions, we are closing on 11/09/2024.”

The restaurant expressed their gratitude towards their customers for their recognition.

“Since 2006, It was an absolute pleasure for the Monal family to serve and showcase a positive image of Pakistan and it’s beautiful people. This journey was full of success stories and emotions for the team affiliated with us but now its time to say goodbye.”

Earlier, the top court has ordered the closure of all restaurants located within national parks including Monal restaurant on June 11.

It was located in the Margalla Hills National Park.

It ruled that all restaurants within the part musk be completely dismantled within three months. Furthermore, it ordered to relocate affected restaurants.
