Imad Wasim takes responsibility for India defeat

Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim has accepted the responsibility for losing against India in the key T20 World Cup game.

 Addressing a new conference ahead of their last match of the mega event against Ireland, the all-rounder took the responsibility for losing against India, admitting he couldn’t execute the plans probably.

Pakistan were knocked out of the World Cup after the match between the US and Ireland that was washed out.

Imad Wasim said the plan against India was to take the game deep as the pitch was not very easy for batting. The all-rounder admitted that he failed to execute the plans.

He said that the team’s game plan was to take the chase deep as the wicket was tough for batting. I let the team down because as finishing this chase was my job which I couldn’t do, he added.
