Imran gets relief from court for 2nd consecutive day

A court in Islamabad acquitted Imran Khan in two more cases of vandalism during the long march.

Islamabad Judicial Magistrate Sahib Bilal heard the acquittal pleas of Imran Khan and others in the cases of vandalism during the long march. The court said that the PTI founder and other accused of inciting people during the long march. Yes, if the public was instigated by Imran Khan and others, then the prosecution has to prove it, it said.

The court further said that no evidence has been submitted against the PTI founder and others and the record is insufficient to prosecute the case against all the accused.

Later, the court acquitted PTI founder Imran Khan in two more cases of vandalism during the long march.

Apart from this, the court also acquitted Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Parvez Khattak, Saifullah Niazi, Amir Kayani, Ali Nawaz Awan, Raja Khurram, Faisal Javed, Sheikh Rashid and Shireen Mazari.

It should be noted that the Islamabad court had accepted Imran Khan’s acquittal plea in two cases of vandalism yesterday.
