In a first, Night Solidarity March for Gaza held

The Jamaat-e-Islami organized the Shab-e-Yakhjehti Gaza March (Night Solidarity March for Gaza) to show solidarity with the people of Gaza.

The event, the first of its kind, was held on Karachi’s Shahrah-e-Quaideen that was attended by a large citizens and party activists.

Addressing the march via video-link, Hamas leader Khalid Qaddoumi said that he is grateful to the people of Karachi who kept the Palestinian issue alive.

Qaddoumi further said that the US is supporting Israel and oppressing Palestine. The people of Gaza are fighting for the survival of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, he said, adding that Israel is not only the enemy of Palestinians but of all humanity.

The Hamas leader demanded that Palestinian refugees be given shelter and treated in Pakistan.

On the other hand, Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said in his address that Israel has been defeated by Hamas. Israel is not stopping even after the resolution of the United Nations Security Council. We have to continue struggle with Palestine and convey a message to the whole world that we stand with the Palestinian brothers.

Hafiz Naeem also said that no one can break our relationship with Palestine and Muslims should contact Egypt and open the way for Palestinian Muslims.
