Indian singer Alka Yagnik diagnosed with hearing loss

Popular Bollywood playback singer Alka Yagnik has lost her hearing, which the singer revealed in a recent social media post.

Alka Yagnik shared a photo from her past on Instagram on Monday with a long caption, addressing her colleagues, fans and wrote: ‘A few weeks ago when I got off my flight, I suddenly felt… That I can’t hear anything’.”

She wrote: “Now after many days I am courageously informing the fans about this because many people were worried about my disappearance from television’.

The singer said that when she told her doctor about the whole situation, he diagnosed her with a disease called sensorineural hearing loss, in which most patients lose hearing in one ear, while some also lose hearing in both ears.

Alka further said that the diagnosis of this disease has made her very worried but she would request all her friends to avoid listening to loud music and wearing too many headphones so that you don’t end up with a disease like her.

The 58-year-old singer added that she is grateful for the love and prayers of all her loved ones at this critical time. I hope I will recover very soon, she hoped.
