Iran may respond to Israeli attacks today, claims US website

A US website has warned Israel of Iranian attacks in response to attacks on Tehran and Beirut.

The American website claimed that Iran could respond to the Israeli attacks in Tehran and Beirut today (Monday).

The US website, citing US and Israeli officials, said Iran and its proxies could attack Israel by Monday.

It said that US officials believe that Iran’s attack will be similar to April 13 but on a larger scale, and this time Tehran may also involve Hezbollah from Lebanon.

The head of the US Central Command Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla had arrived in the Middle East yesterday.

It should be noted that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei ordered a direct attack on Iran in an emergency meeting of the Supreme National Security Council immediately after the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh.

Earlier, Iranian Supreme Leader while reacting to Ismail Haniyeh’s martyrdom, said that it is Tehran’s duty to take revenge for Haniyeh’s murder.

According to Arab media, Ayatollah Khamenei said that Israel has provided the basis for severe punishment and Iran considers it its duty to take revenge for the murder of Ismail Haniyeh inside its country.

Later, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Army, Major General Bagheri, said that Iran is examining the way to take revenge for Ismail Haniyeh’s murder.

Major General Baqeri said that several steps should be taken Israel has to regret and revenge for the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh will be taken, he vowed.

On the other hand, according to the statement issued by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was hit by a short-range missile.

According to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, a 7 kg warhead was used in the projectile.
