Iran screens over 47 million and distributes 11 million masks for free of cost under its ongoing measures to prevent Coronavirus spread.

Iranian Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education Saeed Namaki said that 47,500,000 people were screened with regard to coronavirus infection.

He said that the World Health Organization hailed the pattern.  

He said this while elaborating the latest measures the ministry has taken with regard to coronavirus outbreak in Iran.
Namaki said the social distancing plan will be communicated soon after being verified by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

The head of Iran’s Health Ministry Public Relations Office Kianoush Jahanpour said on Wednesday that 9,625 people out of a total of 27,017 infected by the coronavirus have survived the deadly disease while 2,077 have lost their lives to it.
11 million face masks
Meanwhile, Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Reza Rahmani on Wednesday said that over 11 million face masks are to be distributed free to Iranians in the coming days.

The complimentary distribution is in line with the battle against the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Earlier today, the head of Iran’s Health Ministry Public Relations Office Kianoush Jahanpour announced that 9,625 people out of a total of 27,017 infected by the coronavirus have survived the disease while 2,077 have lost their lives to it.
