Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha has announced to approach the Election Tribunal against the irregularities in the general election.

Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha while speaking on a local TV show complained about the irregularities in the general election.

The PML-N leader said that the returning officer did not allow me to enter the RO office during the counting of votes on the day of the election which is wrong according to the law.

During the conversation in the program, Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha announced that he would go to the Election Tribunal with his complaints.

Speaking in the program, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader Senator Humayun Mohmand said that the coming coalition government will not last long. PPP will be leave the coalition at any time, he added.

Earlier, the Supreme Court has dismissed the petition seeking to declare the February 8 elections null and void.

A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faiz Isa and comprising Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Musrat Hilali heard the petition seeking to declare the February 8 general elections null and void.

The petitioner, Ali Khan, had requested an investigation into election rigging and re-election, but the court rejected the petition due to non-appearance of the petitioner.

The Supreme Court imposed a fine of Rs500,000 on the petitioner for not appearing before it.

It should be noted that earlier at the beginning of the hearing of the case, the court expressed its displeasure at the withdrawal of the petition by the petitioner and asked to hear the case in any case.
