Is Shaheen being punished for argument with Yousuf?

It looks like the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is going make example out of Shaheen Shah Afridi for his behavior with coaches by imposing a ban for a few matches or dropping him for a couple of series.

This punishment is currently being discussed among the board officials, here is what exactly happened between Shaheen and coaches.

The only incident which is being referred as misconduct from Shaheen with coaches was during England tour.

The pacer got engaged in a heated exchange with then batting coach Mohammad Yousuf, Geo News citing its sources reported.

Though, the argument was dubbed as the heat of the moment and was sorted out immediately with Shaheen realizing his mistake and tended an apology.

The incident occurred in Headingly with Shaheen bowling in the nets. Mohammad Yousuf had pointed towards his no-balls.

Upon being called out for bowling no-balls repeatedly, Shaheen got furious – and this is the point where it started.

“Shaheen said to Mohammad Yousaf to let him do what he was doing and he [Yousuf] should mind his own business,” said a source adding that Yousuf responded to Shaheen that he was a coach and doing his job.

The argument got heated-up with Wahab Riaz jumping in to end it. He had also reprimanded Shaheen on his attitude, the pacer had accepted his mistake and had said sorry to the former batting legend.

With Shaheen being set to get penalised for his behaviour, the publication citing its sources reported, the he wasn’t involved in any other incident apart from that.
