Jannat Mirza achieves major milestone, beats Hania Amir

Pakistan’s leading TikTok star, Jannat Mirza, has surpassed all major actresses in the country to become the most followed personality on the social media platform, boasting an impressive 25 million followers.

The 26-year-old actress, who has been the most followed Pakistani personality on TikTok, took to Instagram to share the good news with her fans, posting a story that showcased a screenshot of her TikTok profile, which now boasts an impressive 25 million followers.

This milestone makes Jannat Mirza the only Pakistani personality to reach this number on any social media platform.

Expressing her joy over reaching 25 million followers, Mirza wrote: “What? I have reached 25 million followers, this is a milestone for me. I love all my followers very much, thank you so much.”

Notably, Jannat Mirza has become the most followed star on TikTok, a title she previously held as well.

Among other Pakistani actresses, Hania Aamir is the most popular on social media with over 14mn followers on Instagram, followed by Ayeza Khan with 14m followers.

It is pertinent to mention here that in July 2021, the Pakistani government banned TikTok, citing “immoral and indecent” content on the platform.
