Jannat Mirza opens up about calling off engagement

Pakistani social media influencer Jannat Mirza has recently shared candid insights into her personal life, discussing her decision to end her engagement and her thoughts on marriage.

In a podcast conversation, Jannat revealed that the choice to call off her engagement was not made impulsively, but rather after two years of deliberation with her former partner.

“I think I was not ready for the breakup; why would I be ready for such a thing? But yes, I was not afraid of it, I was happy after that,” Jannat stated.

Beyond discussing her past relationship, Jannat shared her views on marriage, expressing a preference for traditional arranged marriages.

She believes that arranged marriages have more charm and are less likely to be plagued by issues that cannot be ignored.

“Arranged marriages possess more charm. In my past relationship, I could see numerous issues that couldn’t be ignored, particularly regarding marriage, since it happens for a lifetime.”
