Karachi female cop suspended for making TikTok video on duty

A female Karachi constable was suspended after a TikTok video of her went viral on social media.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South, Syed Asad Raza, took strict notice after Maria, who is stationed at Gizri police station, recording a video on Mai Kolachi Road, which later circulated widely online.

The DIG South issued the suspension orders and sought a report from the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), South Zone.

The police shared the video of the female constable on their Instagram account, stating, ‘The police is a professional organisation, and no one will be allowed to engage in such irresponsible behavior.’

In the video that went viral, the female cop said: “As you can see, the entire team is present here, and that’s my bike parked over there. If anyone wants to meet me, they can come here.”
