KARACHI: The medical report of Natasha Danish, accused of killing father and daughter at Karsaz road, has revealed new details.

According to police sources, Natasha’s blood and urine samples have conformed the presence of ice (a banned substance).

The SSP investigation stated that the report has been kept confidential for now, however it has been made part of the investigation and will be presented before the court.

It should be noted that the woman — who ran over Amna, Imran Arif and injured five others at the Karsaz Road — is currently in judicial custody following orders by a Karachi East court.

Earlier, Sindh police decided to form a special investigation team to probe the Karsaz road accident case registered against a woman driver Natasha Danish.

Inspector General of Sindh Police (IGP) Ghulam Nabi Memon said that an officer of senior superintendent of police (SSP) rank would work with the investigation team.

As per the investigation, the woman is a resident of KDA Scheme-I and was going to her mother-in-law’s house, situated at a distance of about 3-4 kilometers.

Natasha Danish’s medical report was delayed and it could take two to three more days to it to be received, investigators said.

The sources said the suspect kept changing her statement during the investigation.

According to the investigative sources, charges in the case were altered and the case was weakened by imposing Section 320 — which pertains to ‘unintentional murder’ (qatl bil khata) by negligent driving.

However, Section 322 of murder had been added in the case.
