A renowned Italian brand Dolce & Gabbana has introduced a perfume for dogs named after the dog of the company’s co-founder, ‘Fefé’ .

The perfume is alcohol-free and the company said it has been approved by veterinarians after testing.

Priced at 99 euros for 100 milliliters (3.4 ounces), the perfume is being described as a masterpiece, which blends fresh and delicate notes of Ylang Ylang, Musk, and Sandalwood.

A 24-karat gold-plated dog paw is printed on the perfume bottle, which is meant to express the company owner’s love for his pet.

The perfume has been certified suitable for use of animals. The company claimed that ‘Fefé’ follows a Safe Pet Cosmetics protocol designed to ensure a degree of safety of cosmetic products for animals comparable to that required for humans. However, not all vets and pet owners agree it’s safe or appropriate.
