Man arrested after calling wife over 100 times per day

In a bizarre incident, a 38-year-old Japanese man was arrested for making an 100+ daily phone calls to his wife, local media reported.

The 31-year-old woman received strange calls from an unknown number, with the caller remaining silent until she hung up.

As the frequency of calls escalated, ranging from dozens to over 100 per day, she grew increasingly uneasy.

However, it wasn’t until she noticed the calls ceased when she was with her husband that she began to suspect his involvement.

Upon reporting her suspicions to the police, they collected evidence and arrested the husband. When questioned, the man’s response was startlingly simple: “I love my wife, that’s why I used to call her without telling her anything.”

The Amagasaki police have termed this incident a first-of-its-kind case.
