Massive cut in petrol prices on cards

In a bid to provide relief to the masses amid decreasing petroleum products prices in the international market, the government has decided to made significant cut as well.

As per reports, a cut of Rs11 per litre is highly likely in Petrol prices from the eve of September 15.

The relief is being provided due to falling crude oil prices in the global market.

The price of diesel may see a reduction of over Rs10 per liter, and Rs8 is likely to be slashed from kerosene prices.

An announcement regarding is expected on the night of September 15, with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb making the final declaration upon approval from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The crude oil prices in international markets have been consistently declining, leading to reductions in the prices of petroleum products, as well as adjustments in PSO rates and customs duties, which will certainly benefit the public.
