Miftah Ismail reveals launching date of new political party

Former finance minister Miftah Ismail has said that a new political party will be launched next month.

Speaking to a local TV over phone, the former PML-N leader said that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi would be the convener of the party “Awam Pakistan”, which will be formally launched on July 6 in Islamabad.

He further said that the purpose of establishing the new party is to change the system, they want the people to make their own decisions and they have the freedom to work.

Ismail said that he would go to the public with his message. I am in contact with political people across the country, Sardar Mehtab Abbasi, Javed Abbasi, Zaeem Qadri and Dr. Zafar Mirza will be with us in the new party, the renowned businessman said.

He added that Sheikh Salahuddin, Rana Zahid Tawfiq, Zahid Banuri, Anwar Soomro will also be the part of Awam Pakistan.
