Mirzapur: Hrithik Roshan to replace Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Bhaiya?

Rumors have been circulating about a potential film adaptation of the popular Indian web series ‘Mirzapur’, with Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan reportedly being considered to play the iconic role of Kaleen Bhaiya.

However, director Gurmmeet Singh has clarified that there has been no official announcement from the producers and studio regarding the project.

Singh refused to confirm or deny development on the project, stating that only the producers and studio can provide details about the matter.

The original ‘Mirzapur’ series, created by Karan Anshuman and Puneet Krishna, follows the story of Akhandanand ‘Kaleen’ Tripathi, a crime boss and businessman, and has gained a massive following since its release in 2018.

While there has been no confirmation on the film adaptation, the makers of the series have confirmed that ‘Mirzapur’ will return with season 4, rumored to premiere in 2025 or 2026.

The series has received widespread acclaim for its engaging storyline and talented ensemble cast, including Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, and Shweta Tripathi.

Earlier this year, season 3 was aired which also saw a bonus episode, marking the return of Divyendu Sharma’s fan-favourite character Munna Tripathi aka Munna Bhaiya.
