The scheduled visit of the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has now been delayed for more than a month.

Earlier, official sources had revealed that the Saudi crown prince would be on a two-day visit to Pakistan on May 19, but now it is learned that his visit has been delayed until a new interim schedule is mutually agreed upon by both sides.

The Saudi Crown Prince was invited to visit Pakistan by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during his visit to Saudi Arabia and it was also accepted by Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Top diplomatic sources say that Mohammed bin Salman may visit Pakistan immediately after Hajj and Eid-ul-Azha. The visit may take place in the third week of June. The schedule will be released by both countries after Eid. Prince Mohammed bin Salman has visited Pakistan twice before.

Spokesperson for the Foreign Office Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has said that as soon as the schedule of his visit is decided, it will be brought before the public.
